BE YOU AGAIN
Since March 2023, I’ve been working on a new album project, and a lot has happened; moving, breakups, bereavements, new encounters, new explorations. This album is filled with all the emotions I’ve experienced over the past year, along with stories I hadn’t been able to express before
I’ve gained the confidence to add my voice to my creative process, a step that had long scared me but seemed important for my evolution. The voice is such an intimate instrument, allowing for even greater expression !
This year has been very formative; I’ve explored a lot in composition and continued to train in mixing through my MAO courses
Today, I’m very proud to have produced this album entirely by myself from start to finish! I’ve faced many difficulties, but they have allowed me to progress and surpass myself !
Autumn Leaves in Your Heart
I composed this little EP in the countryside during the autumn; I felt inspired by its colors.
During this period, I discovered a plugin by Tina Guo from Cinesamples, containing a multitude of samples played by Tina Guo on different cellos. I combined snippets of samples to create a central theme, which I later harmonized and orchestrated.
This plugin is an endless source of inspiration for me. Using these samples allows me to explore places I wouldn’t have initially ventured into. I still use it very regularly!
